A very good price on a yarn left over from a custom yarn produced for an organic pet toy manufacturer. This is a strong yarn, could be called string, suitable for rug warp, and spun for that purpose. I am selling it at this low price because I have stored it for too long, and people may as well enjoy it. There are some flaws to the yarns on the outside as pictured. 840 yards per pound on 1 or 2 lb cones. For knitting this is called a “worsted weight”. All of the cotton used in these yarns were grown in 1995 on the farm I once leased in Arizona. Spun at Athena Root Mill in Richmond, CA and plied in Los Angeles, CA.
