60” wide 5.2 oz lightly sanded on one side, this textile masterpiece is composed entirely of the organic cottons grown in New Mexico by Alvarez Farms. Sea island (Desert type) is the white cotton used, while the green is my variety : “Sea Green” and the brown is my variety : “Coyote”. It is a 5.3 oz twill lightly sanded on one side that is woven 100 epi and 100 ppi, composed of extremely fine singles yarns. Spun and woven and finished in Japan by Taishoboseki and Toban Textiles. I am proud to offer it to you. Sold in half yard increments, so if you need 2.5 yards order 5, if you need 5 yards order 10, etc. the shrinkage is really minor. I washed a yard in hot water and tumble dried warm and this is what I measured : raw 60.25” width: shrunk to 59.75”. Length of 36.5” shrink to 35.5” . Fabric is a generous 60” width. Colors are raw/ unprocessed. Photos show both raw unwashed and washed in warm water to develop the color. The close ups show the intricacy of the color saturation in the yarns.
