840 yds/lb (52 yards per ounce) "worsted" weight yarn suitable for knitting, weaving and crochet. The color is raw and will develop it's intensity and character through washing or boiling in water whose pH has been raised above 10. Available in brown, Sierra Sienna 60% and 16%, green, oatmeal and unbleached white, each cone holds a pound of soft, but strong yarn. Organically grown and spun in the USA. Brown was grown in NM, “Buffalo” brown and Sierra Sienna was grown at Viriditas Farm in Yolo County, “Palo Verde” green was grown in Arizona in 1995. Pima was grown in 1995 in eastern Arizona and the combed organic white was grown in West Texas.
