10/2 foxfibre® colorganic®cones

from $60.00

4200 yds/lb ( 263 yards/ounce) available in brown, burnt sienna or “saffron” ( as it looks before cooking), green , “SeaGreen” and upland organic combed. Great for weaving and lacemaking and gentle machine knitting. The color is raw and needs to be washed or boiled to develop the color intensity. Brown, SeaGreen and Pima used in the marled blends were grown in NM, “Saffron” and “ Buffalo” brown were grown at Viriditas Farm in Yolo County, “Palo Verde” green was grown in Arizona in 1995 on the farm that I lived and worked on. Since April of 2024 the 10/2 Green is actually a 20/4, which is the same final weight. The newest marled yarns were expertly spun in Japan by Taishoboseki and are put up on 500 gram or 1.1 lb cones, the rest are 1 lb cones. All certified organic and grown in the USA.
